MEXICO CITY (AP) — Britney Spears is showing up yet again in unflattering photos splashed across newspapers and Internet Web sites.

Mexican TV and print media published pictures that celebrity Web site TMZ said showed the 25-year-old pop star vacationing in Puerto Vallarta. Spears, her long, blond hair extensions pulled back in a ponytail, is wearing a white-and-turquoise cover-up over a bikini that reveals her not-so-toned backside.

Spears completed a monthlong stay at a luxury Malibu, Calif., rehabilitation treatment facility in March after a series of run-ins with the paparazzi that included a stop at a San Fernando Valley hair salon, where she sheared her own locks.

Other photos on the Internet have appeared to reveal Spears out partying while wearing nothing underneath her short skirts. Other photos have shown her battling weight gain.

Spears recently posted a message on her Web site saying she had been acting like a "bad kid running around with ADD (attention deficit disorder)."

"Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression," she wrote.

Spears filed for divorce from aspiring rapper Kevin Federline last November, just two months after giving birth to their second child, Jayden James. The pair also have an older son, Sean Preston, now 20 months.

The 25-year-old rehabbed star insists that her relationship with John Sundahl is purely professional — but her soon-to-be-ex-hubby insists they’re dating and her mother is thrilled the two are supposedly seeing each other, according to the National Enquirer.

“John’s smitten with Britney,” a source described as “close to the new couple” told the tab. “I’ve never seen him act so ridiculous with a girl. He’s so in love with her that he’s risking his career just to keep her happy.”

Sundahl, who is 38 years old and is also a wealthy real estate developer, was recommended to Spears by someone at Promises, the rehab center where Spears stayed. At first, they met at his Beverly Hills house to discuss topics such as the twelve-step program — but the conversation allegedly got intimate rather quickly.

“Britney and John ended up making out beside the pool — and Britney acted like she didn’t care who saw her,” the source told the Enquirer. “She’s got no shame.”

Dating a patient is considered to be an ethical breach — though it’s not clear that Spears would be considered Sundahl’s patient. And although he acknowledges that he helps recovering addicts at his home, he denies that he’s dating Spears.

“I am not having a relationship with Britney Spears,” Sundahl told the Enquirer.

Lynne Spears, the "Toxic" singer’s mother, is thrilled with her daughter’s supposed romance, according to the source, who says: “Lynne says this guy is exactly what Britney needs to turn her life around.”

WASHINGTON: Surfing the net for nude pictures of Britney Spears can be riskier than searching for pics of Paris Hilton in the buff, not because you’ll find more loads of shocking pics or information about the singer, but because sites offering such a sight are more likely to infect your PC with a virus.

The finding has been based on a study conducted by McAfee's SiteAdvisor group, which evaluates the risks associated with approximately 2,300 of the most popular search terms based on the sites they return.

According to the online search conducted, McAfee found that searching for Britney in the buff can put you at risk of coming across a very high percentage of sites riddled with spyware and other malicious code than a search for a naked Paris Hilton.

However, more dangerous in this category than Paris, was found to be Celeb couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Mark Maxwell, a senior product manager for SiteAdvisor, told E! Online the number of risky sites turned up by a search for a given star was not "necessarily an attribute of the celebrities themselves".

He said the risk of viruses happens because legitimate websites tend to "age out" their coverage of less relevant topics, such as information on Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

This means that people searching for information about the couple were more likely to stumble upon sites run by less scrupulous operators, than if they tried to search for information about Pitt and current lady love Angelina Jolie.

"Are Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston truly riskier than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as people? No," Maxwell said.

The 25-year-old singer - who stayed at Punta Mita’s Four Season hotel over the weekend - warned two older guests to be careful when strolling along the picturesque waterfront.
She reportedly told the older couple: “Be careful, there are lots of Man o’ War jellyfish washing up on shore, you don’t want to get stung.” Britney - who travelled to Mexico with a friend on Thursday and arrived back in Los Angeles on Sunday- showed off her tanned and toned figure in a skimpy thong bikini during her relaxing sunshine break.
A source added: “She seemed happy and carefree with her friend.” Just days before heading off on her exotic trip, Britney confessed on her personal website she was “lost” and had “hit rock bottom” when she suffered her breakdown earlier this year.
The mother-of-two blamed her excessive partying and her split from husband Kevin Federline for her erratic behaviour which included shaving her head and checking into rehab.
Britney wrote: “Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab.”
“I truly hit rock bottom.”
“I realised how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess I was so lost.” [Via]
